Everyone is encouraged to join, even if you aren't confident in your building skills. Guidelines: You may work with one other player. If your room is voted best-decorated, both players will receive the special prize Rooms will all be 17 wide, 17 long, and 10 blocks tall The rooms will be on a town residence on /utopia Keep all builds EMC-appropriate You will provide your own materials Any materials used will remain on the build and not be returned Do not interfere with other player's builds in any way Do not build redstone contraptions that are laggy or obnoxious (repeated noises on a loop, etc.) Have fun! Prizes: All players who put good effort into decorating their rooms will receive 10,000 rupees and a participation prize! A community vote winner will receive 300,000r and an additional special prize! Would my alt count as my building "partner," or would I be able to get both accounts entered as myself and enter someone else as my building partner? I'm tempted to join but weighing multiple factors before doing so.
Usually the use of alts is discouraged during a contest. Besides, if you have your alt as your build partner wouldn't you still be doing all the work? I guess you could delegate certain tasks to the alt then stand back while your alt does the work. 🙂 Critique their work then have to get involved to fix it. Could be a fun time although exhausting.
Nah, that wasn't what I meant. I don't want to leave out my mom (who has her own account) in case she wants to join too, but at the same time I don't want to be debilitated in case a technical issue affecting only a single account arises again and it happens to be the one I apply with. I'm sorry that I wasn't clear about what my concerns were!
